Aren’t most religions similar enough that they teach the same thing?

No. Some religions do have a God, a belief in heaven, morals, and heroes from the Old Testament. It is easy to think most religions are the same, except for the fact they have different names. This is not true because most religions teach that if you are good, you get a ticket into heaven. However, Christianity teaches otherwise. The Bible says you are saved by God’s grace through our Savior, Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8). Good works won’t get anyone into heaven especially because all have fallen short of God’s glory.

What is wrong with our world?

Sin is the explanation for pretty much everything that is wrong in our world. The evil of this world is evident every day. Anywhere you look, you can see it. Any form of today’s media shows the chaos our world is in: the crimes, murders, every imaginable and unimaginable deed. All of this comes from sin. We all have sinned and need the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ to fix us.

Does God love me?

Yes! Absolutely! God made you in His own image. Romans 5:8 says that God demonstrates his love for us that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
